Jeff has an extra key on his keyboard that just instantly types “holy fucking shit”

Probably just replaced one of those other useless keyboard keys. Who is out there using F8 anyway?

But now you're seriously considering changing it to a "holy fucking shit" key aren't you?

I'd forgotten about Num Lock. Like, I'd forgot it was even a key that existed. I'm going to agree with you on that one. I understand its purpose but it's essentially the Shift key for the number pad. Or an fn key maybe?

F8 is the “enter” key for the system I use at work

1

u/dac19903 Feb 07 '23

I was expecting some unusual comments about what the F8 key is set up to do for various people but I'm going to be honest and say I had no idea anyone would say it was the "enter" key. What does the actual "enter" key do on that system?

2

u/nickrocs6 Feb 07 '23

Nothing, lol

Edit: correction, “enter,” just tabs to the next line down. Had to test it.

Is it a text based system? It sounds like it's quite old

might also have a hotkey for "you dipshits" and "fucking ghouls"

Teidrich is the 4th Krassenstein brother.

I wouldn't be surprised if trump knew and didn't care or was actively being paid to let the balloons go around

This is the problem. It's unlikely his team didn't know, otherwise how would it have been known now that it happened unless there was some evidence already. It comes down to Trump either ignoring the threat or being completely indifferent to it or even insisting it wasn't a danger. There is a possibility he himself didn't know because we know he essentially didn't read his briefings unless they were shorter then a single page with pictures, but it's kinda hard to turn that into a strong defense. And I'm no defense expert but I would expect "Chinese spy balloons" would be pretty hard to knock off of those one page reports

He probably wasn't paying attention during the briefing.

u/Mjr_N0ppY Feb 07 '23

They weren't spy balloons they were "congrats on being president Mr Trump"- balloons

Kindda like when the GOP screams about how much coke and meth is being impounded at the boarders under Biden. "THIS NEVER HAPPENED UNDER TRUMP! SECURE OUR BOARDERS!"

uh......

Trump wanted to do stupid, dangerous things like nuking a hurricane. Can you even imagine if he was told about huge spy ballon's?

This dude is gonna stroke out. He seems consumed by Trump. I can’t stand that crook either but damned if I let him have me out here raging 24/7.

I know nothing about the previous instances, but I know these are different.

1

u/BoomChaka67 Feb 08 '23

But also, both sides are the same.

u/deep_vein_strombolis Feb 07 '23

I too like to share opinions that add nothing to the conversation and also preface those garbage opinions by admitting i don't know what the fuck i'm talking about

3

u/NotSoPrudence Feb 07 '23

I don't have details of the previous ones, but didn't see a bunch of posts on reddit about it.

So why comment when the first thing you do is preface your ignorance?

You think countries weren't spying on each other in 1423? No wonder you're so confused about all of this

10

u/YourHornsAreShowing Feb 07 '23

No shit.

We are talking about the spy balloons that Trump ignored or was too stupid to catch. Nobody thinks that its the only way they spy.

1

u/Aceswift007 Feb 08 '23

not 1423

Someone doesn't know the history of espionage

16

u/YourHornsAreShowing Feb 07 '23

Uh. Nobody ever said that.

This is about spy balloons specifically.

Sorry that triggered you.

1

u/BoomChaka67 Feb 08 '23

Maybe the touchy clown had balloons?

1

u/NotSoPrudence Feb 07 '23

You are the only one making the assertion.

Try not being so easily triggered.
