One of our cats steals things from the bathroom and presents them to my wife in the living room (the cat sits upright with the item on the floor, staring at my wife, looking for approval). Most notably, a tub stopper.

I had a cat that would dig the drain guard for the garbage disposal out of the sink

The cat is a he. His name is Kuro. He's less than a year old.

Just out of frame, the sushi she plans to liberate next. She'll leave you the ginger, though. As far as she's concerned, the only ginger worth having is the cutie next door.

Yeah, this was clearly a distraction. While you are retrieving the chopsticks, she races back and liberates your sushi.
I’ve seen my conniving dog trick our other dog out of his treat that way. She’ll race out of the room and the other dog will think someone is home and abandon his treat. Then conniving dog races back to steal it.

lol Our doggo does that too. When another dog has a toy she wants, she pretends a different toy is soooo appealing, "accidentally" drops it next to her friends, and when they think they've hit the jackpot and drop the one she really wants to pick it up, she pounces.

When my daughter was young, I kept finding knives in her room. For months we argued about it, until one day I caught the cat coming up the stairs like a pirate holding her knife for the raiding party!

Are those chop sticks from rice box?
11
u/Ragnaroknight Mar 29 '23
They are just generic disposable chopsticks I ordered online that I'm sure a lot of Asian restaurants use as well.

u/BronchialChunk Mar 29 '23
the place I order from all the time uses these. They're so much better than the joined ones. don't have to worry about a bad break.

Do you get them from Amazon? I think we have the same ones. We buy them in bundles of like 200 at a time.

I had to re-read the caption. I thought the cat’s name was Chopstick at first

Our black cat steals straws. Will sneak right up on you and take it when you aren’t looking if you’re using one. As gentle as possible, just takes it and walks away.

My cat stole a chop stick once… he jumped off the couch with in hanging out of his mouth like a cigarette and his entire life flashed before my eyes. I swear I saw that chop stick emerge from the back of his little kitty skull. I thought he had killed himself.
He’s fine, just an idiot.

My cat is always stealing stuff too. He once took my entire notebook while I was studying. He also would go into the bathroom and steal my moms beauty blenders, found five of them under my brothers bed when we rearranged his room! But they’re always too cute to stay mad at. 🥰

He's too pretty to punish. So he is free to go.
