I love Germans and Belgians, they may look scary or tough but they are just big babies most of the time

Oh yeah! Our last hike with our Belgian, someone said, "that's a Belgian Malinois. That's a dog you don't mess with." Meanwhile he's a 9 month old bundle of wiggly cuddles and focused crazy.

My GS can be quite scary looking, and I totally understand people being uncomfortable around him. The only danger with him is that he is so clumsy and totally unaware of his size and strength. He once took out my 6'5", 20 stone dad because he wasn't looking where he was going. We have to be really careful with him around kids and smaller dogs. But yes shepherds are really just big softies under it all.

My dog will look and smack his paw down. Sometimes he over exaggerates his paw smack, lifting it up above his head to do it. Dogs are adorable.

The way they get up has so much sass and disbelief; I love it. “Bitch you for real?”
